Spherical Mirror Illusion

In this lab we were provided with 2 concave mirrors and a toy frog. We first placed the frog on the bottom concave mirror in the center and then we placed the concave with a hole in the center on top. This has created a hologram.
 

The object is illuminated by a light source. The object is reflected off the concave mirror and the image is shown through the hole on top. The object is reflected twice to show a virtually identical 3D image through the hole from a box space.

The reason why an illusion is present of a 3-Dimensional real image is because this virtual image is created by boxing two concave mirrors together and having a space or hole in one mirror to present the illusion of the reflected object as can be seen in this diagram below.
